Hello, I am Samina

Who am I

I am a UX Designer and I have a true passion for people and design. I am looking forward to leveraging this knowledge and refining new skills to create user-focused, revenue generating products for my future clients. 

What I did

I am a graduate of General Assembly's UX Design Immersive program. Being at GA has helped me to develop an eye for design. I learned how to do research, sketching, wireframing, content creation and designing of web applications for different platforms, this helped me to become an all rounded UX designer ready to take on new challenges and create better solutions for both businesses and end users, but above all it taught me to look at the world differently and enhance user experience across all cyberspace.

What I don't do

​

  • I don't pitch for work if you're the one who approaches me first. If it's a project I really want, I'll find you and fight for it. This portfolio site is my pitch.

  •  I create custom designs, but I'm open to using existing templates or sites as inspiration if you tell me about them. Along the same lines.

  • I do not do heavy backend development (no custom PHP, sorry!).

  • I do not do app development. I do not develop mobile applications, however, I can help you design the interface and the overall user experience.

Who I work with

I enjoy working with individuals and small businesses so that we can form a close working relationship to make the best site possible. Learning about new businesses and industries is great fun for me, especially if there is a larger positive impact being made. Honesty, communication, and dependability from both parties always makes for the smoothest and highest quality projects.

What I like

In my spare time I love to do yoga, gardening and above all having a great conversation over a cup coffee with a friend is my favorite time.
